About Us
Hi, I’m the developer behind ETG-Calculator.net.
Why This Site Exists?
Many people who are tested for EtG get very little explanation of what the test actually measures, why detection windows differ from person to person, or why a low-level positive can happen after incidental exposure, such as certain mouthwashes or hand sanitizers. I built this site to give clear, plain-language answers and a transparent estimating tool, so visitors can understand the test instead of guessing about it.
What I Do Not Do?
I do not provide advice on how to hide, dilute, mask, or beat a test, and I never will. The calculator gives estimates for educational purposes only. It cannot predict your personal test result, and it is not a substitute for guidance from your testing program, a doctor, or a licensed counselor. Please read our Disclaimer for details.
Who Runs This Site?
ETG-Calculator.net is built and maintained by an independent software developer who creates calculator and reference tools across a range of topics. EtG testing is one of several areas covered, chosen because the available information online was often thin, outdated, or written to sell something rather than explain it.
How I Keep Information Accurate?
The calculator logic and articles on this site are based on published research and public guidance from sources such as SAMHSA and peer-reviewed journals. The calculator page explains its inputs, method, and limits in full. I correct errors quickly when readers report them.
Independence and Advertising
This site is not affiliated with any testing laboratory, treatment provider, or alcohol brand. It is supported by advertising through Google AdSense. Ads are served automatically by Google and its partners, they do not influence what I write, and an ad appearing on this site is not an endorsement.
